On one ledger with the rest of the stack
Every ramp is two legs: a fiat movement at your chosen PSP or bank, and a token mint or redemption on the core. The engine binds the two into one order and reconciles them against the ledger per currency, so the fiat side and the token side are never tracked in separate books. A ramp that has cleared one leg but not the other is a recorded, named state on that order, not an unmatched balance sitting at a partner waiting to be chased.
Because both legs land on the same system of record, an on-ramp and the off-ramp that later reverses it read against the same per-currency position, and status tracking, fees and reconciliation describe the same order rather than three views that have to be stitched together after the fact.
